Lifelong Learning

God and Spirituality with Cantor Cohen
January 17, 24 and February 7- 7:30-9pm
Cantor Cohen continues our exploration of different approaches to God and spirituality. The 4-part class will focus first on the works of Rabbi Mordecai Kaplan (1881-1983), an important Jewish thinker and the founder of Reconstructionist Judaism. We will then study modern approaches to our relationship with other religious traditions—how can we engage deeply with other traditions, while continuing to be fully and deeply grounded in our Judaism? Newcomers to the class will enjoy an open discussion with all points of view heard and respected. Check the STory for the zoom link.

Judaism for Grownups 3-part Class with Rabbi Adam
January 21, 28 and February 4 – 8:00pm
Now that you’ve found a religious school for the kids and a warm community to be part of, what about your own Judaism? What do you believe about God? Do services have meaning for you? How do you want to celebrate holidays and Shabbat? Explore these and other questions with Rabbi Adam. Check the STory for the zoom link.
